Poštovane kolegice i kolege,

Udruženje konsultanata inženjera Bosne i Hercegovine UKI BIH/ACE BH organizuje 14. Kongres o transportnoj infrasturkturi i transportu – željeznice.
Kongres će se održati 02. i 03. oktobra 2025. godine u Sarajevu. Ovaj skup se održava u vrijeme globalne revitalizacije željeznica kao najprihvatljivijeg transportnog sistema za prevoz putnika i roba.

Evropska unija je u zadnjih trideset godina bila veoma aktivna u rekonstrukciji transportnog tržišta i jačanja pozicije željeznice u odnosu na druge vidove transporta. 2019. godine Evropska komisija je predstavila Evropski zeleni plan koji sadrži okvirni plan sa mjerama za zaustavljanje klimatskih promjena, prelazak na kružnu ekonomiju, obnovu biološke raznolikosti i smanjenje onečišćenja. Evropski zeleni plan obuhvata posebno tansport, energetiku, poljoprivredu, održavanje i gradnju zgrada te industriju čelika, cementa, tekstila i kemikalija.

Transport u Evropskoj uniji emituje 25% ukupnih emisija stakleničkih plinova, u čemu željeznički transport učestvuje sa 0,4%. Inicijative Evropske komisije imaju za cilj da istaknu prednosti željeznica kao održivog, sigurnog i pamentnog transportnog sistema.

Godina 2021. proglašena je Evropskom godinom željeznica kako bi se stanovništvo i kompanije potakli na veće korištenje željeznica kao ekološki prihvatljivog, sigurnog i cjenovno pristupačnog rješenja.
Sada je savršen trenutak za ubrzani razvoj istinski integrisanog željezničkog sistema – postoji volja čitave Evrope, finansijska sredstva i neophodno iskustvo za realizaciju razvojnih projekata.

14. Kongres o željeznicama pruža priliku da se razmijene iskustva istraživača, operatera, upravitelja infrastrukture I proizvođača sredstava i opreme za željeznički sektor iz EU i šire regije te da se ukaže na prednosti željeznica u odnosu na druge vidove transporta u oblasti sigurnosti, korištenja zemljišta i zaštite okoliša.
Ovaj skup pruža priliku svim nivoima vlasti i finansijskom sektoru da učestvuju u stvaranju cjelovite slike o implementaciji transportne politike u pojedinim državama i koordinaciji zajedničkog planiranja i implementaciji strateških razvojnih, regionalnih i lokalnih projekata.
Recenzirani radovi biće objavljeni u zborniku radova.

14th Congress on Transport and Transport Infrastructure – Railways, 02 – 03 October 2025, Sarajevo

The Association of Consulting Engineers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (UKI BIH/ACE BH) will organize The 14th Congress on Transport and Transport Infrastructure dedicated to railways.

The Congress will be held in Sarajevo on 02 and 03 October 2025. This meeting is taking place at the time of global revitalization of railways as the most acceptable system for transport of passengers and goods.

Over the past 30 years, the European Union has been very active in the efforts to reconstruct the transport market and strengthen the position of railways over other means of transport. In 2019, the European Commission presented the European Green Plan, which contains a framework plan with measures to stop climate change, transition to circular economy, renew biodiversity, and reduce pollution. The European Green Plan particularly extends to transport, energy, agriculture, and maintenance and construction of buildings, as well as to the steel, cement, textile, and chemical industries.   

Transport in the European Union accounts for 25% of greenhouse gas emissions, with the share of railway transport being 0.4%.
The European Commission’s initiatives are aimed at highlighting the advantages of railways as a sustainable, safe and smart transport system.  
The year 2021 was declared the European Year of Railways in order to encourage the population and companies to increase the use of rail transport as an environmentally acceptable, safe and cost-effective solution.    

Now is the perfect moment for accelerated development of a genuinely integrated railway system – there is the willingness of the entire Europe, there are funds and the necessary experience to implement development projects.

The Congress is an opportunity to once again point out the advantages of railways over other means of transport in the areas of ​​safety, land use, and environmental protection.
The 14th Railways Congress provides a platform to exchange experiences among researchers, operators, infrastructure managers, and manufacturers of products and equipment for the rail sector in the EU and the broader region.  
This meeting will provide an opportunity to all levels of government and the financial sector to take part in creating a comprehensive picture of the implementation of transport policies in individual countries. It will also be an opportunity to exchange experiences in joint planning coordination and implementation of strategic development, regional, and local projects. The essays will be reviewed and published in the collection of papers.
